06-07-2017·Depends on your goal. Chisel will be must faster and lighter in good/smooth conditions. Ive seen an almost stock fuse weigh in at 28 even pretty much. The fuse in rocky rooty areas is nice and it "climbs like a billy goat" but is definitely slower in some aspects.

It embodies all of the qualities you'd expect from an XC race bike, like light overall weight, incredible stiffness, and a race-oriented geometry—all with one-by gearing, too.
05-05-2020·The Chisel is more XC oriented than the Fuse. It has a steeper head angle and shorter wheelbase. Which means it'll be a bit twitchier on steep downhills. It'll ride faster than the Fuse. Its got a 27.2 seatpost...so finding a dropper might be more difficult. If you want general trail riding...the Fuse is probably the safer choice.

18-06-2019·Compared to the Specialized Epic and Chisel hardtails, the Fuse takes a decidedly more trail-oriented approach.
ROWDY BY DESIGN The Fuse is loaded with smart touches. The wide-diameter down tube boosts stiffness. The low-slung top tube improves maneuverabilty on tight trails. And while this Fuse's 27.5x2.8 tires give it tons of traction and stability. PERFECTLY DIALED Fail to nail the geometry and advanced designs will still amount to nothing on the trail.
